In response to this post, I note that final version has dispensed with the "ontop" tabs, which is a blessing, and they've drawn more attention to the stop/reload bit too. Better.

I never use "Add Bookmark" either, Mark. I use del.icio.us these days to keep bookmarks altogether. I don't know why I persevere with Safari for web dev. I think it's because FF3 is so clunky on the mac, and because the built-in web inspector's so nice in Safari (Very good in S4 btw).

I tell you what though, I'm loving the new auto complete with titles and urls. And the Top Sites thing is kind of funky. If I could have the old tabs, and a proper reload/stop button I'd be happy as larry!

agreed. i *always* use forward, back, and reload, but i *never* use the add-bookmark button, but now i have add-bookmark where reload used to be, and since i can't get rid of add-bookmark, i keep almost clicking it -- if at least i could get rid of that then it might be easier to retrain myself. but, firefox is better for web development anyway so i will probably switch to that (in no small part because it's important for me to see the full page title, which in safari 4 is usually truncated).
